9 – 12.00pm: Fire and Pulp Friction Staff/Members

12 – 2.30pm: General Public

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service are leaving their headquarters in Bestwood Country Park this year, and we have some beautiful plants in the grounds. We are offering people the opportunity to bring your own fork, dig out the plants and make a (decent) donation for anything you take – all proceeds will go to PULP FRICTION and the Fire Fighters Charity.

Please note – some of these plants are very established so will require quite a bit of digging to remove them / the root ball.  You dig at your own risk! You also need to bring bags/pots to transport your plants in – we have some on site but please bring what you have.

We will be selling light refreshments on the day. Public toilets will be available

Entry on the day is via the main gate – please ring the bell for entry by car or foot, or Fire and Rescue Service staff can use their access pass. There is lots of free parking on the site. The address is

Bestwood Lodge Drive,
Arnold,
Nottingham,
NG5 8PD
